When Jerry and Jeannie decided to come to Cebu we planned to see some places to spend with them. Jerry is from South Jordan,Utah. He is a friend and was a co-worker also of Mark Tanner. When he found and fell in love with Jeanie, ( Jeanie came from Surigao City, about 3 hours drive from Madrid.) Mark introduced Jerry to Tom and they were phone pals since then. We didn't see him while we're in Utah..but on our way to Philippines we boarded the same flight from LA to Cebu. And that's how we first met Jerry in person. When we got here in Cebu, we also met Jeannie and had association with them by next day. And the rest was history....
Our first stop is in "TOPS" which is overlooking the city of Cebu, Lapu Lapu City, Olango Island and Bohol Island.
Jerry and Jeannie
We love Cebu!!!
This could be one of our best shots for 2012. ;-)
The following day we went to southern part of Cebu. Our first stop is Kawasan Falls in Badian,Cebu. After 3 hours drive, we stretched our legs and walked for about 15-20 minutes for us to see the falls. There are about 3 falls here in Kawasan, but the other 2 we still have to climb uphill for us to be able to see it..so we just stop in here in the main waterfall.
I wish to have a white skin, as most Filipinos really are fascinated to fair skinned people. But I know I can't be white hehehe and so I am just happy to see Tom's sun tanned skin now which is a little lighter than mine.
Our last stop is the white beach in Moalboal, Cebu.
For more than 2 months of us being here in Philippines and we have no cold and hot shower. I enjoyed so much our daily cool refreshing shower and Tom has not..But I am glad that Tom got tempted to enjoy the turquoise water of Moalboal.
And I gained what Tom's lost...and it's 10 lbs!!!
The cloudy sunset.
The tranquility of the morning.
Just enjoying once more the sight.....and hoping to enjoy Moalboal once again someday.
Mona, I love the pics! Thanks for updating us with pictures. You may have gained 10 lbs. but you're still a tiny little thing and cute as ever. You look very happy in these pictures. Cebu looks beautiful. The picture you said that was so good and may be the best of 2012 is really good! You could use that on a Christmas card! Glad you are having a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteThanks Suzanne! Maybe this year we will try to send the family a Christmas photo card. Tom has been planning too for us to do that. Indeed!we had a great time there in Philippines! But it's good to be home too!
