Joy Ride

On our way back home I asked Tom if we could  drop by Sand Hallow Reservoir. Because the picture I've seen in our calendar looked so great. When we arrived there there's a notice that the bacteria in water that may cause skin itch is high...I was planning to go swimming but with this notice we just drove around the reservoir. Then I remembered the blog of Suzanne about the beautiful scenic drive in going to Boulder. Tom hesitated at first because he has not been to Boulder and didn't know the way. I turned on our GPS and clicked the Panguitch-Escalante Scenic Drive. Tom is so pooped out today after driving for 13 hours in our joy riding from yesterday. There are really magnificent views all the way! Here's our favorite:
                                                            In  Sand Hallow Reservoir.
Tom tried to drive through the sand dunes, good thing he was able to back up right away or else we'll be stuck on the sand.

                                                                  Zion Canyon
This million-dollar road is really amazing that on our way up, passing the narrow road on top with the cliff on both sides really makes my tummy to churn that I just keep my eyes on Tom.

The pretty foliage of Dixie National Forest.
Maybe it's the Capitol Reef as seen from afar.

As the sun sets  my camera was able to rest.
