Country Living

The rice must be dried well before it will be milled so that the rice grains are pearly white. If the rice has been wet after it was harvested and not dried right away, the end product will be like this or worst - an off white colored rice with so many black damaged grains of rice.
I helped mom sis to pick one by one the unwanted black grains so we will be eating the good grains only.
Mom sis is showing Tom how to winnow the rice to separate more tiny unwanted grains.

Tom tried it! He only missed about handful of rice for the chicken to eat.

Our Home Sweet Home.

This is how we wash our laundry and fetch our water.

This coconut husk is what we used to scrub our floor.

I showed to Tom how to make our wooden floor shiny.
And I told Tom it's scrubbing that helped me to stay fit while growing up.

Tom tried to scrub for taking pictures only and not to become fit like me...hehehe
