The Bohol Island

Bohol is a neighboring island of Cebu. It's about 4 hours boat ride and 2 hours in Water Jet ride to Tagbilaran City,  the capital city of Bohol. This was our pre-Valentine double date escapade with Jerry and Jeannie. This was Tom's second visit, because we wasn't able to get our hotel reservation's online..we spent half of day hopping from one hotel to another along the beach area of Panglao Island. After we finally settled in the hotel, we have to rushed to our first stop in our day tour package which is the floating restaurant in Loboc,Bohol.

Philippines' own  "The Bridge to Nowhere" in Loboc, Bohol

This is one of the oldest Catholic Church of Bohol. And the "Bridge to Nowhere" ended just a few yards away from the church. And I never thought of taking a picture of the stairs they built below the bridge where it ended, for the people to make use of this bridge.

After catching the early morning waterjet ride to Tagbilaran..we sure were hungry and this was the last trip of Loboc famous for.. the floating restaurants.

Some residents of Loboc grouped themselves to give entertainment alongside the Loboc river. They were dancing the Philippines National Dance "Tinikling".

Well, we feel like we were "Jack and Rose" of Titanic..hahaha

After lunch we dropped by in Tarsier Conservatory Area located also in Loboc. Tarsier is the smallest primate in the world and maybe can only be found here in Bohol. Many years ago anyone were allowed to hold it. But now because they are among the endangered specie..one can only look at them and not touch them..maybe to keep them healthy.
It was so cloudy and did drizzle when we're on our way to Carmen, Bohol to see the pride of Bohol..The Chocolate Hills. In one of the tallest chocolate hill in the area, where the visitor's center is located, they built about more or less 150 steps stairs and along side the hill is also a ramp. Jerry and Jeannie went to the stairs while Tom and I opted for the ramp in climbing up the hill. This is the view below  once on top; the thousands of chocolate hills all over the place.

Just lovin' the drizzle on top of  chocolate Hill. ;-)
A photo like this..I should have to really post it! hehehe
                                                                  just loving my own.;-)
Just having fun as we went down the hill.
I love this rainbow colored umbrella. Indeed! it add color in such a cloudy day!

This was my 5th time to come here in Bohol.
Truly will I say, "I Love Bohol!"
                                      The land of my ancestors!
