Dumaluan Resort, Panglao Island, Bohol

It's in this resort where we made a reservation online..but wonder why they don't get our reservation. We looked at their available rooms that day but the rooms were a little expensive and were looking for more affordable rooms to stay for one night After hopping to another resorts which were more expensive, we still ended coming back here in Dumaluan Beach Resort. After our tour during the day, Tom was too tired to eat dinner and decided to stay in our room to watch his FOX NEWS and drank 1 liter of Chocomilk. Too bad I never thought of bringing a camera while having dinner..The 3 of us were having fun eating grilled fish and squidd adobo. They had a superb band! Truly love is on the air with all the songs that the vocalist were rendering to all of us. Anyone are welcome to sing with the live band. But I am not that so gutsy to try to sing in a live band. ;-) Jeannie is a very good singer I urged her to go to stage to sing for Jerry and to all. But she was also too shy to sing before the crowd. Someday if anyone of you will visit the Philippines and also spend the night in Bohol..Here are the reasons why you should stay at Dumaluan Resort. Aside of it's being affordable and superb night entertainment. You would still enjoy it's quietness and the white sand all over if you'd rather stay on the beach than go snorkeling, scuba diving. etc....And we did forgot to enjoy their pool and jacuzzi!

I woke up at 5:30 in the morning hoping to see when the sun rises..But it was so cloudy so I just enjoyed the stillness of the morning. It was low tide and it really feels good to walked barefoot on the sugar fine sand all the way where the boats are.

Beside Dumaluan Beach Resort is the Bohol Beach Club. They have spacious beach and shorelines but more expensive too.
This is called "Suwaki" the meat inside is so yummy for a seafood lover like  me.
This is "guso" an edible seaweeds aka  "Carrageenan".
                                                               A spring of fresh water.
Can  anyone guess what this is?
And there are  thousands of them all over.
                                                               It moved!   So it's alive!
.....and maybe this is mommy starfish
So slimy that seems so yucky to hold and I didn't dare even just to touch it, coz it reminds me of something while I was a kid.
This is the kind of seaweeds, not edible , which was carried ashore on every high tide.
For the well maintained beach resort like Bohol Beach Club and Dumaluan Beach when low tide           comes they will sweep these weeds and dumped it somewhere I guess away from the beach.
And these were my early morning finds..So I went back to our room which is called "Kamalig" means a "hut" to wake Tom up. We came this far to enjoy the sun and the beach (although it was cloudy}and it was not too exciting for me to spend more time inside the Kamalig and watch TV.  Though Tom is still sleepy hehehe I dragged him out of bed to walk with me on the beach.
This is what we called "Kamalig" which in english means a "hut".
I had Tom pose at the porch of the kamalig hoping the flash of the camera will wake him up.
Finally Tom in here is enjoying walking on the beach than be in the bed..hehehe
I was glad someone came by. So this was our first photo shot together in the morning. Then we went back in kamalig to wake Jerry and Jeannie up, because the free breakfast will soon be over.
And a group picture before we hit the the table for our breakfast.
Hey Kids! It's Tom and Jerry in person! hehehe
Another pose again that I should not miss to post here in our blog..hehehe
                                                                    Jeannie and Jerry
                                                                     Tom and Mona
After 15 minutes or so..Tom hasn't swam yet to a knee deep water. Then he said, he had enough of the beach water...hehehe So, he went back to kamalig to watch his fox news and drank another liter of chocomilk! ;-) Oh well! I would surely miss the beach than the fox news when we come back in Utah. hehehe And so, I really took my time swimming in a waist deep water of Dumaluan Beach although I ended up as brown like a lechon or Philippines roasted pig. hehehe

This also what I enjoyed most in the kamalig the kind of out door bathroom. Take note there's no hot and cold shower here, that's what makes the kamalig rates a little cheaper than the rest of rooms here in Dumaluan Beach Resort. But the fresh water shower is so refreshing that seems like I was having a good time under the rain.
