Tom is just in time to escaped the bad weather in Iligan City.
But while we're in Bayugan, in my cousin's place we we're able to experienced heavy rains and strong winds, that same night that Iligan City and Cagayan de Oro City was devastated by the typhoon. And there was no electricity over night and most of the next day..but Tom was sweating hard and was not able to fall asleep right away, so we opened one window and just let the breeze of the strong winds comes into our room.
The day was dreary and the rain comes and go...Tom was bored so we went around. Our first stopped was in the Carac-an River.
Tom tried to step in the water if it's cold like the one of the lake in Utah. He said 'it's warm"..
This is the only boat that carried the people to the other side. The river was so swift and it's when we got home that I realized why we hadn't tried to ride the boat on the other side and back.
We're taking time to take pictures by the river because the mining will start its operations next year in our mountains here, and this river won't be the same again.
